Fixture Format 2015/2016

Merseyside Primary Schools’ Inter Borough/Association League 2015/2016

The borough/association squads of St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral, Liverpool, Halton and West Lancs will compete against each other during the season with each squad having the opportunity to host a tournament.

The fixtures and venues for this league will be confirmed as the season progresses.

Merseyside County Schools’ Football Association Everton Trophy 2015

Merseyside County Schools’ Football Association has confirmed that a girls’ primary final will continue to be part of the annual Everton Cup/Trophy evening at Goodison Park in 2015 (in turn subject to confirmation by Everton FC). This is a great achievement for the girls’ development programme and will help us to get the deserved recognition for the local squads.

The top two sides (winners & runners up) after all the Merseyside Primary Schools’ Inter Borough/Association League 2014/2015 fixtures have been completed will compete in the Everton Trophy Final at Goodison Park (subject to confirmation by Everton FC) at the end of the season in April/May 2015.

 

As agreed by all managers no current 2015/2016 Centre of Excellence Players will be allowed to play in any of these competitions

 

 

Rules & Regulations 2015/2016

Merseyside Primary Schools’ Inter Borough/Association League 2015/2016

  • Matches will be 7 minutes each way
  • Teams will be 7-a-Side with roll on roll off subs (there will be no limit to the squad size for each association for league matches)
  • Mini Soccer rules will apply
  • 3 points for a win 1 point for a draw

 

Merseyside County Schools’ Football Association Everton Trophy Final 2016

  • Match duration for the final will be 10 minutes each way
  • Teams will be 9-a-side with roll on roll off subs (squad size will be 12 players)
  • Mini Soccer rules will apply

 

SHIN PADS MUST BE WORN BY ALL PLAYERS IN EVERY MATCH!!

REFEREES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE HOSTING ASSOCIATION £15 FEE

 ASSOCIATIONS HAVE THE OPTION TO CHARGE £1 ADMISSION FEE
